Hey there and welcome to Trader Todd’s blog. My name is Skipper. I’m the party planner and host here at Trader Todd’s and now I’ll be your weekly tiki blogger! I’ll be talking about things happening here at Trader Todd’s, you know, things like new songs we’ve added to the karaoke list, when we’re showing the UFC fights, weekly specials and more! I might even share some tips for making fabulous tiki drinks at home, a few of our favorite recipes, or just some fun facts about island life.

We’ve had an awesome 2011 here at Trader Todd’s. And tomorrow, for New Year’s Eve we’ll be celebrating a continuous 365 days of karaoke! That’s right we didn’t take a single day off in 2011. OK, we did leave a little early on Christmas, but we were here! Next year we’re going for 366 days of karaoke . Yes, I can count, 366 days because 2012 is a leap year! We still have a few tickets left for our awesome party hosted by our favorite actor Don “Ogre” Gibb. Tickets are $85 in advance and include a premium bar package, tons of delicious food, karaoke of course, party favors and two Champagne toasts. Yeah, we do one at midnight Key West time as a warm up for midnight here in Chicago. And we’re the only place in Chicago that has the “Fish Drop,” think times square but with a lit up fish pinata!
